A photograph of the visit to Belfast by King George V and Queen Mary, travelling in a state landau, pass cheering crowds on Donegall Square. The King was in Belfast to open the Northern Parliament, created after the partition of Ireland, enacted in May 1921. The building in the background, decorated for the state visit is the Robinson and Cleaver department store. One of 4 photographs on album page.
