London community programme
The London community programme welcomes groups to visit Buckingham Palace, The King's Gallery and the Royal Mews. These visits are free for pre-arranged groups and societies who work with under-represented, disabled and disadvantaged people.
The State Rooms of Buckingham Palace
The State Rooms are open to visitors for 10 weeks each summer. To register your interest for a free Commuity group visit to Buckingham Palace please email [email protected].
Grand staircase
The State Rooms are entered by walking up the Grand Staircase. Designed by the architect John Nash, and inspired by his experience working in London theatres, it provides a sense of excitement and expectation for the rooms that follow.
The Royal Mews
The Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace is responsible for all the road travel arrangements for The King and members of the Royal Family. Community tours take place on Mondays and Fridays in March, June and September. To register your interest for a free a Community group tour please email [email protected].

See changing exhibitions from the Royal Collection, featuring old master paintings, rare furniture, decorative arts and images from the vast photograph collection. Free Community sessions are themed around each exhibition, to register your interest please email [email protected].
