  • Please note that access companion tickets cannot be booked online.
  • A visit to Windsor Castle typically lasts from two to three hours. A free multimedia tour is available, and lasts about 90 minutes.
  • During the summer months the Castle can get very busy, especially during the mornings. Across the Castle after 13:00 is a quieter time to visit.
  • There are people in uniforms (Wardens) who can help with any questions during the visit. Please download the document below for further detailled information.
  • There are currently road works taking place on Castle Hill, the road that leads to the Admission Centre, so this area is likely to be noisy and busier than usual.
